THE Port Dou­glas Ju­nior Crocs were def­i­nitely on the at­tack this week­end against Cen­trals.

It seems that the Un­der 8’s were in a goal kick­ing frenzy with the lit­tle tack­ers kick­ing an un­be­liev­able 12 goals in their match.

The boys played with great ball con­trol and strong de­fence where ev­ery player had a great game and goals were shared around with seven play­ers.

Goal kick­ers were Scott Cooper 3, Jake Sherwell 3, Geneva Gil­bert 2 and 1 goal each to Jesse Bour­guignon, Harry Walker, Ethan Bakker and Jai L’Es­trange.

Jai L’Es­trange also won player of the day medal­lion for his great team play and ac­cu­racy in front of the goal.

Macca’s awards went to Ethan Bakker and Jake Sherwell. Cam Nyko was amongst the award win­ners again this week pick­ing up the Food­works im­prove­ment award.

The Un­der 10’s play­ers were show­ing skills be­yond their years against the Saints at Trin­ity Beach on Sun­day.

The goals were shared around with Ryan 3, Reuben 2 and 1 from Daniel, Toby and Leon. Awards went to Daniel David­son, Tyson Lynch and Rory Nyko.

The Un­der 12’s got off to a great start with Bray­den and Hugo dom­i­nat­ing in the ruck giv­ing the Crocs first use of the ball out of the cen­tre.

Daniel David­son played one of his best games and kicked what could be the goal of the year.

The Port Dou­glas Crocs won with a score 5-7-37 against Cen­trals Red on 3-3-21 with awards go­ing to Billy, Char­lie, Jye and Daniel David­son.

The Un­der 14’s saw an­other win last Sun­day against a strong Bull­dogs squad due to their great com­mu­ni­ca­tion on the field.

Goal kick­ers were Quin­lan Can­non, Mitchell Bohm and Jar­rah Wren who kicked his first ever goal in AFL.

Quin­lan Can­non scooped up the Beach Shack Award and Brady Ste­wart won the Port Pantry Award.

Other award re­cip­i­ents were Mitchell Bohm, Thomas Rad­cliffe and Kee­gan Gro­gan.

This Sun­day will be the first home game for 2011.
