Drunk driver charged for crashing into units
A 36-YEAR-OLD Port Douglas woman was charged with drink-driving, fail to fulfill duties, careless driving and refusing a roadside breath test. The woman was driving along St Crispins Ave at 10pm on February 10 when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a block of units on the corner of Morning Close and St Crispins. She left the scene and police took specimens of blood from the vehicle. The woman blew 0.207 and will appear in the Mossman Magistrates Court on May 5.
