Port Douglas Incentives relaxed about branding
THE Port Douglas Incentives group has launched a new website along with a new brand - World Heritage, World Class.
Viral marketing campaigns are being designed to raise awareness of the website and drive traffic to it.
PDI chairperson Natalie Johnson said the website was just one element of a year-long campaign to attract more business events.
“The new site is clean, fresh and very easy to navigate,” Ms Johnson said.
“The branding is in line with the new Tourism Port Douglas and Daintree destination marketing, so it wraps around perfectly to promote the region to our target audience, business event specialists.
“We want to ensure potential domestic and international clients looking for a world-class, sophisticated, innovative and unique destination, land on our website and see Port Douglas and Daintree is the natural choice for conferences, incentive travel, major events, corporate retreats and meetings.”
PDI is bringing a dozen business events account managers and decision-makers from around the country to the region for four days next month, to give them a taste of what the region can offer their clients.
