Port Dou­glas In­cen­tives re­laxed about brand­ing

THE Port Dou­glas In­cen­tives group has launched a new web­site along with a new brand - World Her­itage, World Class.

Vi­ral mar­ket­ing cam­paigns are be­ing de­signed to raise aware­ness of the web­site and drive traf­fic to it.

PDI chair­per­son Natalie John­son said the web­site was just one el­e­ment of a year-long cam­paign to at­tract more busi­ness events.

“The new site is clean, fresh and very easy to nav­i­gate,” Ms John­son said.

“The brand­ing is in line with the new Tourism Port Dou­glas and Dain­tree des­ti­na­tion mar­ket­ing, so it wraps around per­fectly to pro­mote the re­gion to our tar­get au­di­ence, busi­ness event spe­cial­ists.

“We want to en­sure po­ten­tial do­mes­tic and in­ter­na­tional clients look­ing for a world-class, so­phis­ti­cated, in­no­va­tive and unique des­ti­na­tion, land on our web­site and see Port Dou­glas and Dain­tree is the nat­u­ral choice for con­fer­ences, in­cen­tive travel, ma­jor events, cor­po­rate re­treats and meet­ings.”

PDI is bring­ing a dozen busi­ness events ac­count man­agers and de­ci­sion-mak­ers from around the coun­try to the re­gion for four days next month, to give them a taste of what the re­gion can of­fer their clients.
