Drunk driver caught twice in one night

PO­LICE stopped a 23-year-old man on the Cap­tain Cook High­way at Moss­man at 9.20pm on April 23 for a ran­dom breath test and he blew 0.062. Po­lice pulled the same man over again two hours and 40 min­utes later on Port Dou­glas Road in Port Dou­glas and he recorded a blood-al­co­hol read­ing of 0.05. The man was charged with drink driv­ing and will ap­pear in the Moss­man Mag­is­trate’s Court on May 11.
