Come and try tennis
THE Port Douglas Tennis Club will hold a ’come and try’ day at the Davidson St courts this Sunday.
Aside from free lessons, participants will be able to tank up on carbohydrates at the sausage sizzle.
Juniors aged 4-8 who want to swing a racquet can take to the courts 2-3pm, with older kids on court 3-4pm, followed by the adults 4-5pm.
The next big event on the local tennis calendar is the parent-child tournament scheduled for the following Saturday, May 7. firmly on fun and participation.
Children, men and women of all ages are invited to enter a team and be active participants in the best day on the beach in Port Douglas.
