Come and try ten­nis

THE Port Dou­glas Ten­nis Club will hold a ’come and try’ day at the David­son St courts this Sun­day.

Aside from free lessons, par­tic­i­pants will be able to tank up on car­bo­hy­drates at the sausage siz­zle.

Ju­niors aged 4-8 who want to swing a rac­quet can take to the courts 2-3pm, with older kids on court 3-4pm, fol­lowed by the adults 4-5pm.

The next big event on the lo­cal ten­nis calendar is the par­ent-child tour­na­ment sched­uled for the fol­low­ing Satur­day, May 7. firmly on fun and par­tic­i­pa­tion.

Chil­dren, men and women of all ages are in­vited to en­ter a team and be ac­tive par­tic­i­pants in the best day on the beach in Port Dou­glas.

Num­bers are strictly lim­ited though so to en­sure your team se­cures a place on the day call or­gan­iser Greg McLean as soon as pos­si­ble on 0428 998 849 to reg­is­ter .
