Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - TOURISM TALK -

One of the highlights for me is when I first walked onto the Four Mile Beach, it was quiet and very calm and just seeing the size of the beach, but it was a shame the water was not a tropical blue, it was supposed to look like paradise but it is brown at the moment.

It has been a little tough with Julia, we have had a lack of sleep because she is not used to a different bed and a different environment, but it has not been because of the location.

Another highlight was playing a round of golf at the Sea Temple Golf Course, it was really good and when I was playing there, about halfway on the 9th hole there was a pool and a crocodile lying there - it was a nice course with a great layout and it was not too difficult.

I would definitely recommend to my friends to come to Port Douglas on holiday, there is a nice combination here, you can be active with the walks here and kite surfing and you can also relax.

The rest of our holiday will be spent just relaxing and enjoying the environment.
