Phantom tool saviour

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

ON or around August 11 an expensive rechargeable drill, a water blaster nozzle and a fuel can fell on to the road from a vehicle travelling out of Mossman towards Cairns as the back hatch had accidently been left open.

As the tools were unmarked, it was assumed they were gone for good.

We automatically think in this day and age that nobody would be honest enough to hand them in.

However, a very honest person collected these items from the road and took them to the Mossman Police Station.

Here’s hoping that person reads this and knows how much their honesty is appreciated. May your truth and decency be rewarded throughout your life. Thank you.

Thanks also to the staff at the Mossman Police Station. It really turned a bad day into a good one when we were told the items were found.

Saviour: Tools that fell on the road were handed to Mossman police.
