Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - HOT PROPERTY -

THERE are heaps of activities to keep the kids entertained at the Mossman Community Christmas Party on Saturday. And the best part is it’s all free. Among the activities organised for kids to enjoy include face painting and sand art which involves using different coloured sand to make a picture which will then be laminated.

There will also be jumping castles and hot shots tennis to burn off some energy as well as free helium balloons, a playdough and craft stall and Christmas card-making.

Animal lovers big and small will have a chance to get up close and personal with their favourite critters with a patting zoo as well as wildlife demonstrations from the crew at the Wildlife Habitat.

A puppet show will also entertain the crowd with Sid the Seagull, Nikki the Clown and Captain Smartypants roaming around to add to the festive spirit.

The Cairns Vintage Car Club will have a classic collection of vehicles on display and there will also be performances by the Mossman & District Gymnastics Club and Bodies In Motion dancers.

To satisfy the masses, there is also a free sausage sizzle and drinks to be enjoyed.

And of course no Christmas celebration would be complete without a visit from Santa, who is making a special visit to Mossman all the way from the North Pole to deliver free gifts to local children.

The Mossman Community Christmas Party will be held at George Davis Park from 9am to noon on Saturday.
