Shoe boxes full of compassion
THANK you doesn’t seem enough to all the people of our community who each year dig deep into their hearts and pockets to fill shoe boxes with lots of goodies for children in war-ravaged countries.
Again this year it was amazing to see these boxes come to me to be packed and sent away.
What a joy those boxes and knitted beanies etc will bring to 311 children.
To all the schools - Mossman, Julatten, Miallo, Daintree, Alexandra Bay - the churches - St David’s, Mossman Uniting, Mossman AOG, Julatten Fellowship - and also the people in the community who packed boxes as well as knitted dozens of wonderful beanies, thank you.
Also a big thanks once again to the Douglas Shire Seniors and CWA ladies.
Glad to help out: Mossman State School students Brayden Jones, Ethan Crees and Jasmine Faichney
