Traffic op: false plates
MOSSMAN police charged five people in three days for one or more offences of driving unregistered, uninsured, unlicensed and false and cancelled plates as part of a traffic operation last week. All five people will appear in the Mossman Magistrate’s Court on January 11 and Mossman police will continue to conduct random traffic operations to crack down on bad driving behaviour. Meanwhile, Port Douglas police continue the local traffic operation Cairns Imperial, issuing five speeding tickets on December 7 along Port Douglas Rd and Captain Cook Highway. None were 25km/h over the speed limit.
