A birthday to remember

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

OUR son Max turned 13 the other day and, like so many other parents, we wondered what on earth to do for his birthday.

We wanted him to have a memorable day - a teenager at last - which would include a bit of adventure.

Michaela and Barney at Back Country Bliss made it one of the best days he’s ever had.

Max invited three friends to share his day and they mountain biked down the Bump Track.

They had an absolute ball and came home after their afternoon’s fun dirty but very, very happy.

Michaela and Barney provided all bikes and safety equipment, transport, refreshments and a call to say that all was well - most comforting.

So often we’d only do something like this when we’re on holiday but this local couple have great full and half-days out, are so well organised and made the day so much fun.

Max will remember his 13th birthday forever.
