They’re still criminals

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

I FIND it “interesting” Gazette managing editor Greg Mclean seems to be exonerating illegal behaviour by publishing a soppy story about Patton and Sonja Eidson who are still being referred to under their assumed names of Michael and Anita Mcgoldrick.

Regardless of what occurred in the US, it would appear by their own admission that both these people have knowingly entered Australia illegally and should be dealt with to the full extent of the law.

What makes them so special or any different to any other criminals who have lived among us under the cover of darkness?

Mr Mclean should be devoting space in his newspaper to more deserving issues that are not centred on just two people’s illegal activity.

Is Mr Mclean and the Port Douglas and Mossman Gazette an advocate for illegal activity?
