Amaz­ing cham­ber mu­sic

OVER 60 lovers of clas­si­cal mu­sic were treated to an amaz­ing per­for­mance at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Dou­glas on Wed­nes­day, Fe­bru­ary 29.

The Cham­ber Phil­har­mo­nia Cologne (Ger­many), eight of Europe’s best clas­si­cal­ly­trained mu­si­cians, thrilled the au­di­ence with Vi­valdi, JS Bach, Tchaikowsky and Mozart’s Diver­ti­mento in D Ma­jor.

The Cham­ber Phil­har­mo­nia Cologne trav­els the world shar­ing ex­quis­ite mu­sic which thrills the heart and soul.

Their skill, tal­ent and sheer plea­sure in per­form­ing was a de­light and some­thing that we would love have visit Port Dou­glas and our re­gion much more of­ten.

The Cham­ber Phil­har­mo­nia Cologne’s chief ob­jec­tive is to in­spire as many peo­ple as pos­si­ble, across all gen­er­a­tions to en­joy clas­si­cal mu­sic - the num­ber of stand­ing ova­tions proved that they most cer­tainly ex­cel in their en­deav­ours.
