INTERNATIONALLY renowned vaudeville-nouveau trio Sound and Fury are descending on Port Douglas to entertain audiences with their unique brand of panache and wit.
The multi-award-winning comprising of Richard Maritzer, Patrick Hercamp and Ryan Adam Wells will return to Port Douglas’ Clink Theatre for the third consecutive year to perform as the last leg of their Australian tour.
“We love coming to Port Douglas, it like a working vacation - it’s so relaxing to stay by the beach and visit the rainforest, especially after our hectic touring schedule,” Maritzer said.
“We travel all over the world and there really is nowhere else like it.
“The Port Douglas audiences are great, a very clever and savvy crowd, that really get the subtlety of some of our jokes.”
Their show A Soulless Western is described as an original comic genreparody play which promises to be full of laughs with something for everyone and has been playing to full houses at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
The show tells the story of frontier doctor John Faustus who sells his soul for power, riches - and free health-care.
The Clink Theatre will host the show on March 31 and April 1.
