Pottery is back at the DAB

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - ENTERTAINMENT -

COME and try pottery with the Douglas Arts Base in Mossman this Saturday and bring your friends.

Spaces are still available to the Intro to Pottery course with Daintree Village’s potter Elizabeth Bright.

Elizabeth has a speciality for bringing gnomes to life, but will start with the basics for beginners and lovers of pottery.

“It’s a good medium to work with, clay is very versatile and your imagination has no limits because you are working with a threedimensional form of art,” she said.

“People can create something they can put to good use.”

And it does not have to be a cup, bowl or gnome, simply bring your ideas along on the day and Eliza will help you bring them to life.

The course runs from 1.30-4.30pm and costs $20.

To book your spot in the Intro to Pottery Course at the DAB studio or to find out about other workshops scheduled this year, contact the Douglas Arts Base on 4098 3337.
