Fundraising made easier

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

THERE is no doubt fundraising is hard work but thanks to Coles supermarket our efforts have been made a whole lot easier.

Willing assistance from local businesses is always greatly appreciated and initiatives such as the collection tins at Coles are an excellent source of income for KIND.

The money boxes placed at the Coles check-outs to collect small change are filling up remarkably quickly.

So when you are next at Coles doing your shopping, and you see our bright pink money boxes, take a load off your pocket or purse, and know you are contributing to a great local organisation who continues to utilise community funds to assist local children with life-threatening and debilitating illnesses and injuries.

There are several other locations for KIND money boxes around town including Bendigo Bank, Westpac Bank, Port Douglas Newsagency and the Four Mile Video Shop - if you think your business would be a good place to have one let us know.

We are hoping to put together a Mother’s Day event and are looking for ideas and assistance.

The event we hope will perhaps include a fashion show, entertainment and of course something special for mum.

Contact me on 0407 159 379 if you are interested in contributing or assisting.
