LOW Isles Preser­va­tion So­ci­ety will present an au­dio­vi­sual cel­e­bra­tion of the won­ders of our coral seas at the Car­ni­vale Club.

Sit­u­ated at the Sugar Wharf and over­look­ing the beau­ti­ful ocean, the set­ting is per­fect for an in­for­ma­tion night with world-class guest speak­ers to in­form us about the area we live in.

From mer­maids to mer­men, tur­tles to whales, LIPS in­tro­duces lo­cal ex­perts show­cas­ing the di­ver­sity of our aquatic en­vi­ron­ment.

Guest speak­ers in­clude Jur­gen Fre­und, an in­ter­na­tion­ally ac­claimed pho­tog­ra­pher and au­thor of The Coral Tri­an­gle, a World Wildlife Fund project ex­plor­ing the magic and con­ser­va­tion chal­lenges of the Indo-pacfic.

There will also be Eye to Eye with Minke Whale Eco Tourism Oak Beach Pro­duc­tions - Po­sei­don’s per­spec­tive.

The show is on Tues­day, May 22, and also dou­bles as an open door, ev­ery­one is wel­come to come and sit down along the Sugar Wharf’s bal­cony and have a drink, the bar will be open.

The event is a gold coin do­na­tion for the so­ci­ety and for the beau­ti­ful venue and starts at 6.30pm to 10pm. For more in­for­ma­tion visit­ni­vale.
