Canine bites back

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

THROUGHOUT history mankind has been assisted by his loyal canine friends.

Special assistance dogs have provided companionship to the infirm, guidance to the blind and support to the deaf.

Rescue dogs have saved countless lives in times of disaster, and bomb detection dogs have protected our boys in the military.

Sheep and cattle dogs have minded our livestock, and police and border protection dogs have demonstrated their uncanny ability to detect dodgy characters.

So a special commendation should be awarded to the dog that bit our new Premier.
