“We just got to take it game by game and make sure we don’t get ahead of ourselves,” he said.
“We got a tough game this weekend playing Cairns Brothers (no.1 on ladder) it will be tough and being an away game.
“I reckon we can beat them if we take on Brothers like we did the other side, we have to stay competitive and we can do anything as a team - we need to stay committed to our cause and focus on how to beat each game.
“We made Innisfail chase us for the whole game and got some good runaways - it was a really entertaining game for our spectators.
“We will do it again when we come against Yarrabah on May 12 when we have a home game, but like I said, take it game by game and make sure we’re getting ready for each game.”
