Daina Keech

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - PEOPLE -

I WILL be a mum for the first time and my husband Daniel Keech will be a dad when we have our first child at the end of June and we are both thrilled.

Because we know that our baby is a boy we have chosen a name for him already but that is being kept a closely guarded secret until he is born and our parents arrive to see their new grandson - we have to keep something under wraps.

I have bought heaps of items already, probably way too much. But hey, I’m going to be a mum for the first time and so I’m extremely excited, as well as a little bit nervous, but soooo looking forward to his arrival.

Daniel has gone on a flying expedition to NSW. He is a keen ultra-light pilot and this is his last hurrah before he gets down to the business of being a dad.

But knowing Daniel he will somehow devise a tiny harness so that he will be able to take his son flying with him.

Until I become a mum and can celebrate for myself we intend to spoil my mum this Mother’s Day.
