Chef hat for team
The online dating for your career
PORT Douglas restaurants Bucci and Harrisons have been awarded one chef’s hat each in the inaugural Queensland Good Food Guide.
The Fairfax Media guide has previously only been an online version, but this year has been published by for the first time and awards one to three chef’s hats determined by conducting secret reviews.
Out of a score of 20, owner of both restaurants Spencer Patrick said Harrisons received 15.5 and Bucci 15.
Palm Cove’s Nu Nu Restaurant and Star Horizon are the only other Far North restaurants to receive a hat.
“For a small town to get two hats is great, it has put us on a level comparable to other states so when people are looking through the Good Food Guide they will see Port Douglas as a dining location,” Spencer said.
“I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at both restaurants for their hard work and dedication, without the team this wouldn’t have happened.”
Sassi Cantina just missed out on receiving a chef’s hat award, scoring 14.5. LOCAL human resource consulting service HR Dynamics has launched an online website being billed as the love child of online dating site RSVP and recruiting site seek. com.
Phoebe Kitto and Rebecca Munro are the brains behind www.jobsnap.com.au which came about when Rebecca received a wedding invitation from friends who had met through online dating.
