Get in the pink for charity afternoon
ENJOY an afternoon tea in the company of friendly faces while raising money for the Breast Cancer Australia on Saturday.
The Pink Afternoon Tea will be hosted by Miss Carnivale runner-up and Mossman local Demi Butler as part of her fundraising duties in her quest to be crowned Miss Charity for Carnivale.
Bring out your fabulous tea party frocks and meet at the Mossman Bowls Club for an afternoon of scrumptious homemade treats with a cup of tea or coffee.
“It’s a really good thing to support the Cancer Foundation and also it’s a fun thing for women to do to see how many people really support the community,” Demi said.
“It’s $10 entry and all proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Foundation and you get an entry into the lucky door prize.
“I’m also having a raffle and there will be heaps of sweets people are baking for me.”
Get your tickets at the door at the Mossman Bowls Club this Saturday, May 12, and enjoy a pink afternoon from 3-4.30pm.
