Get in the pink for char­ity af­ter­noon

EN­JOY an af­ter­noon tea in the com­pany of friendly faces while rais­ing money for the Breast Can­cer Australia on Satur­day.

The Pink Af­ter­noon Tea will be hosted by Miss Car­ni­vale run­ner-up and Moss­man lo­cal Demi But­ler as part of her fundrais­ing du­ties in her quest to be crowned Miss Char­ity for Car­ni­vale.

Bring out your fab­u­lous tea party frocks and meet at the Moss­man Bowls Club for an af­ter­noon of scrump­tious home­made treats with a cup of tea or cof­fee.

“It’s a re­ally good thing to sup­port the Can­cer Foun­da­tion and also it’s a fun thing for women to do to see how many peo­ple re­ally sup­port the com­mu­nity,” Demi said.

“It’s $10 en­try and all pro­ceeds go to the Breast Can­cer Foun­da­tion and you get an en­try into the lucky door prize.

“I’m also hav­ing a raf­fle and there will be heaps of sweets peo­ple are bak­ing for me.”

Get your tick­ets at the door at the Moss­man Bowls Club this Satur­day, May 12, and en­joy a pink af­ter­noon from 3-4.30pm.
