Under-10s

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - SPORT -

THIS weekend saw the mighty Under-10s playing both Redlynch teams at Mossman.

After a gruelling week of training and video reviews of the previous week the boys were ready to go on a shark attack.

Unfortunately for the Redlynch Silver Backs the boys came swinging and smashed them with some heavy artillery early.

Pacman will have to get a licence soon for his tackling as he is becoming a lethal weapon.

With Brayden returning from injury the sharks were unstoppable in every department allowing the potent backline to fire.

Mason, Isaiah, Beau and Kai did some strong runs and great tackling when needed. Bronson and Derek lead the team well in attack and defence and Kaanju and Norman were elusive with the ball in their hands.

Sam and Connor have continued to improve as each game goes on. Final Score Mossman 20 to Silver Backs 4.

In the second game the Redlynch Razorbacks came out and were as hard to tackle as a pack of wild pigs.

However with our own sledgehammers in Pacman and Brayden the Razorbacks big forwards were cut in half and driven backwards.

It was a close scoring game but the boys always had it in control but maybe let their foot of the pedal too much. Final Score Mossman 4 to Razorbacks 0

The boys are playing out of their skins and it will take a mighty effort from another team to stop this juggernaut.
