Pop­pers of­fers kids sup­port

CHIL­DREN in the Far North will have the op­por­tu­nity to at­tend a six-week chil­dren’s group to help them deal with parental sepa­ra­tion.

Pop­pers for ages six to nine years and Pop­stars for 10 to 13-year-olds of­fer kids the chance to re­lax, have fun and aims to sup­port young peo­ple in their ex­pe­ri­ence of parental sepa­ra­tion, con­flict and changes in their fam­ily sit­u­a­tion.

Start­ing on Mon­day, July 30, kids can re­lax and have fun by en­joy­ing ac­tiv­i­ties such as arts and craft, read­ing, mak­ing friends and shar­ing af­ter­noon tea.

Held at Re­la­tion­ships Australia FNQ, 125 Grafton St Cairns, these weekly events are free of charge and run from 3.30-5pm.
