Scared scriptless at the Clink
PERFORMERS will take to the stage at the Clink Theatre on Saturday night for one night only improvisational comedy show that sees those brave enough throw away their scripts to take part in a dynamic game of spontaneity and wit.
The no-holds barred Theatresports competition promises never to be seen again comedy, where topics for games are based on audience suggestions.
Performers will battle head to head in a daring competition of creativity and comedy.
Local personalities Bruno Bennett and Sean Cram will judge the performance of plucky competitors on the basis of spontaneity, comic timing and entertainment value.
“Anything could and will happen in the night,” organiser Nicole Carnaby from Tropical North Theatre Company said.
“The performers involved a scared scriptless.
“We encourage the community to rally behind our brave entertainers and come and make a night of it.”
There are plenty of prizes for participating teams and for the best audience suggestions.
Theatresports will be held at the Clink Theatre on Saturday with the bar opening at 6.30pm for pre-show drinks.
