IT WAS back to reality for the mighty Port Douglas Under-8s Crocs.
After playing in front of 10,000 mad screaming Tigers and Suns supporters on Saturday night at Cazalys stadium it was back to 10 very enthusiastic parents at North Cairns Oval against the South Cairns Cutters on an early and damp Sunday morning.
Inspired by the close game on Saturday night, the boys turned it on in the opening quarter, led magnificently by game day captain Hugo “Cloke” Ellison and the strong marking skills of Kai “Walker” Durie provided many options going forward for the Crocs.
When moved into the middle Dainel “Cross” Harrington played one of his best games of the year with some great contested possessions and was well supported by the Wall Brothers Dalton “Watson” and Sam “Tuck” who both played very consistent games.
