IT WAS back to re­al­ity for the mighty Port Dou­glas Un­der-8s Crocs.

Af­ter play­ing in front of 10,000 mad scream­ing Tigers and Suns sup­port­ers on Satur­day night at Cazalys sta­dium it was back to 10 very en­thu­si­as­tic par­ents at North Cairns Oval against the South Cairns Cut­ters on an early and damp Sun­day morn­ing.

In­spired by the close game on Satur­day night, the boys turned it on in the open­ing quar­ter, led mag­nif­i­cently by game day cap­tain Hugo “Cloke” El­li­son and the strong mark­ing skills of Kai “Walker” Durie pro­vided many op­tions go­ing for­ward for the Crocs.

When moved into the mid­dle Dainel “Cross” Har­ring­ton played one of his best games of the year with some great con­tested pos­ses­sions and was well sup­ported by the Wall Broth­ers Dal­ton “Wat­son” and Sam “Tuck” who both played very con­sis­tent games.
