WITH their new footy jumpers, the mighty Port Douglas Under-8 Crocs were jumping out of their skin on a fresh Sunday morning match against the North Cairns Tigers.

Leading from the front by match day was captain Taj “Ling” Anderson who kept his forwards busy with many raking left-foot kicks deep into the Crocs’ forward line where Hugo “Murphy” Ellison and Kalan “McDermott” Poole ran wild and stretched the Tigers’ defence.

Improved Daniel “Lake” Harrington and Ethan “Chicken Wing” Scott were creative in the middle and the solid rucking contests of Sam “Cox” Wall and the rebounding efforts of Kai “Hern” Durie and Colby “Manson” Taylor kept the crowd well entertained.

The little pocket rocket Hayden “Libba” Cresswell played well in all three zones throughout the match while, when Angus “Lewis” van Rouylan wasn’t tripping over his shoe laces, was playing a ripper of a game dishing out many linking handballs to his partners in crime Tam
