Condolences

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

THANK you for your recent article about the Broadband for Seniors program at the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre.

We are writing to let you know that since your article we have been inundated with new participants and are having even more fun. The response has been quite overwhelming.

If anyone in the community already has some computer skills and would like to join us as a volunteer tutor, we would really appreciate it.

The class currently runs on Friday mornings and Monday afternoons so if you are interested and have a few hours to spare each week please contact Jo de Riva at the centre on 4099 5518 or email manager@pdnc.org.au. DOUGLAS Shire Meals on Wheels respectfully offers its condolences to the family and friends of the late Salvatore “Sam” Tati.

Numerous donations were made to Meals On Wheels in Mr Tati’s honour and these are gratefully acknowledged.

They have enabled us to purchase a large new rice cooker and a caterer’s food processor.

This equipment will be of lasting benefit in providing meals to our clients.
