Stopped by train

A 21-YEAR-OLD Cas­sowary man ig­nored po­lice road blocks at 3am on Au­gust 4 on Cap­tain Cook High­way and drove up to a de­railed train be­fore be­ing stopped, breathal­ysed and sub­se­quently charged with drink-driv­ing. The man was driv­ing un­li­censed and had a blood al­co­hol con­tent of .058 and will ap­pear in the Moss­man Mag­is­trate’s Court on Au­gust 22.
