Thanks for your support

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FEEDBACK -

ONE year has passed since Matthew’s accident and life has changed in so many ways.

It’s been one huge rollercoaster ride that I hope we never have to ride again.

We couldn’t have got to where we are now without the love and support of the beautiful friends we have in our wonderful town.

The love we have been shown has been amazing and we are so grateful for every little or big bit of help we have been given.

Living in a small town like Mossman has been a big blessing to us - people care, unlike living in a big city where you are just a number.

There have been many changes in our lives in the past year, me and the boys are trying to find our place in life again and building lots of new memories together.

And of course remembering all our memories we made as a family with Matthew - we will never lose them.

We miss him every day and would give anything to have him back here with us but until we see him again we have to be happy and live our lives as best we can because who knows what can happen.

Life can be very short sometimes so we need to do our best at doing it well.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Sorely missed: dad, husband, mate and all-round good bloke Matthew Jolly
