POLICE intercepted a 46-year-old Port Douglas man in Mossman on October 3 around 8.45pm driving in breach of his conditional licence. The man has to use an interlock system, which only allows the vehicle to start after blowing into a breathalyser but was intercepted in a vehicle without the system and subsequently charged driving unlicensed and will appear in court October 24. A 17-YEAR-OLD Mossman man was intercepted drink driving in South Mossman just before 11pm on October 4. The man provided a reading of .052 while on a provisional licence and was charged with drink driving, failing to attach P-plates and driving an unregistered vehicle and will appear in court October 24. AN 18-YEAR-OLD Shannonvale man has been charged twice with two separate offences that occurred in August. The man was identified on CCTV footage and charged with disorderly behaviour on a licensed premise on Macrossan St and after several witnesses came forward the man was charged with one assault occasioning bodily harm after an altercation on Macrossan St the same night. The man will appear in the Mossman Magistrate’s Court on November 7.
