PO­LICE in­ter­cepted a 46-year-old Port Dou­glas man in Moss­man on Oc­to­ber 3 around 8.45pm driv­ing in breach of his con­di­tional li­cence. The man has to use an in­ter­lock sys­tem, which only al­lows the ve­hi­cle to start af­ter blow­ing into a breathal­yser but was in­ter­cepted in a ve­hi­cle with­out the sys­tem and sub­se­quently charged driv­ing un­li­censed and will ap­pear in court Oc­to­ber 24. A 17-YEAR-OLD Moss­man man was in­ter­cepted drink driv­ing in South Moss­man just be­fore 11pm on Oc­to­ber 4. The man pro­vided a read­ing of .052 while on a pro­vi­sional li­cence and was charged with drink driv­ing, fail­ing to at­tach P-plates and driv­ing an un­reg­is­tered ve­hi­cle and will ap­pear in court Oc­to­ber 24. AN 18-YEAR-OLD Shan­non­vale man has been charged twice with two sep­a­rate of­fences that oc­curred in Au­gust. The man was iden­ti­fied on CCTV footage and charged with dis­or­derly be­hav­iour on a li­censed premise on Macrossan St and af­ter sev­eral wit­nesses came for­ward the man was charged with one as­sault oc­ca­sion­ing bod­ily harm af­ter an al­ter­ca­tion on Macrossan St the same night. The man will ap­pear in the Moss­man Mag­is­trate’s Court on Novem­ber 7.
