Helping stops barking
I WAS distressed to read your article on the “Threat to kill family pets” (Gazette, October 18).
My husband and I have had a similar experience when we had our dogs.
We got a visit from Dog Control complaining about our dogs barking.
I would have been more than happy to hear from the neighbour we were upsetting so we could have rectified the problem.
To this neighbour I think it would be nice if he came forward and talked to the couple, as collie dogs thrive on exercise and attention and can be very needy.
If these neighbours are at home during the day perhaps they would be in a position to walk these dogs while the owners are at work, or if
