Apres Beach Bar and Grill
APRES Beach Bar and Grill have fully embraced the concept of “reef feast”, offering beach views while showcasing local tropical produce. Foodies will be tempted with a taste of crocodile bitterballs, kangaroo pastrami on sugar cane skewers and local prawns. Situated in the heart of the Palm Cove esplanade, the beachside bar and grill will be hosting a family fun day on Sunday, October 28, complete with live entertainment and a welcoming, laidback atmosphere. “We really want to encourage families to come along and join in the fun,” coowner Jen Malone said. “Along with the tastes on offer, we will be serving our full lunch, dinner, bar and pub menu, with food provided all day, and hope to meet lots of Port Douglas faces.” Lunch is served from noon - 3.30pm, and dinner from 5.30pm, promising the best local flavours and produce, including speciality steaks locally sourced from the Atherton Tablelands and lots of child-friendly choices. Come along, sip a beer or cocktail, and listen to the soothing sounds of resident musician Marty Bell, who will be performing between noon-4pm on Sunday, all while indulging in the beachside ambience and incredible views.
