A taste of India

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FRONT PAGE -

INDULGE in an authentic taste of India at the Maharajas Palm Cove Restaurant, a popular experience with locals and tourists alike a mere stone’s throw from the beautiful tropical palm tree-lined beach. The menu at the Maharajas Palm Cove contains the finest recipes collected from the princely houses of Kashmir, Baroda, Sailana, Hyderabad, Awadh and Jaipur. These states of India have the distinction of refining certain recipes and style of cooking to the point where the cuisine was named after them. Dishes are personally cooked by owner Dinkrit Singh, who picked up his passion for cooking in his younger days in India while dining with various maharajas and their families. His truly authentic and exquisite dishes are culled from the secret archives of the Maharajas of India. His early career in hospitality, at the Cairns International Hotel and his degree from the Australian International Hotel School at Canberra has given him a great platform to indulge in his passion for creating a restaurant with a real difference. You are invited to come and try out these wonderful, mouth-watering dishes at the Maharajas Palm Cove on Saturday night. For bookings call 4055 3599.
