Prioritise your personal health

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

CANCER Council Queensland is calling on women to prioritise their personal health, with statistics revealing that thousands of female cancer deaths could be avoided. Smoking, sun exposure, poor diet, alcohol, lack of exercise and being overweight are all lifestyle factors that can lead to cancer diagnosis and early death. More than 5,000 Australian female cancer deaths occur each year as a result of preventable risk factors. Women are encouraged to make a pledge via the Cancer Council Queensland facebook page.
