MOSS­MAN Golf Club play­ers had a good week with mostly fine days.

Tues­day’s Mens Monthly Medal spon­sored by The Pav­il­lions was won by Ken Deu­ble with nett 67 on a count­back to John Caswell and James Browne. Near­est the pins were Brett Jurie on 8, Lau­rie Prosser on 10 and Peter Chris­field on 17.

Thurs­day’s Ladies Monthly Medal spon­sored by Lucy Giles was won by Gayle Healey with nett 73 on a count­back to Vir­ginia Goodall and Treveen Page. The putting com­pe­ti­tion was won by Glenda Chris­tensen and near­est the pins were Kerri-Lynn Wil­liams on 10 and Treveen on 17.

Satur­day’s over­cast con- di­tions made for a pleas­ant tem­per­a­ture for play­ers and the sta­belford event was won by Ben Gaske with 41 points ahead of James Doolah with 40 points on a count­back to John Nor­ris. Near­est the pins were Barry Brims on 6, Lau­rie Prosser on 8, John Pether­bridge on 10, Jeff Mur­ray on 13 and James Doolah on 17.

In the ladies event the win­ner was Julie Hooker with 34 points ahead of Lyn Heimann. Near­est the pin was Tr­ish Landy on 13. On Sun­day the win­ner was Casey Dunne with 42 points ahead of Kim Co­p­land with 37 points. Near­est the pins were Julie Hooker on 8, Art Howard on 6 and 13 and Christie Bouwkamp on 17.
