Awesome fundraising

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - LETTERS -

LAST Friday’s Funky Hair Day at Mossman State Primary School proved to be popular and was a great success.

It was a part of the World’s Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation and senior leaders of the school were happy to help out and look forward to organising more fundraising events.

The school was proud of the amount of people who participated in the event and donated, it was wonderful to see everyone get involved.

The event was well planned and the school plans on participating in the event for charity again in the coming years.

More than $ 150 was raised in total that will be sent to the Leukaemia Foundation.

Mossman State School say is so proud and lucky to have such wonderful and generous students attending the school.

There were a couple of people who were really getting on board with ‘‘funky’’ style that were noticed so congratulations to Jasmine B, Nikolai, Veti, Trent, Claire, Bailey, Phoebe, Jack P and Tejay - you guys had the fun- kiest hair.

Mossman State Primary School would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped out organising this successful event.

Your help did not go unnoticed and was really unappreciated.

What a great day it was.
