Free Labour and Skills Support
UNDER the banner of Workforce Futures, QTIC is working in partnership with Service Skills Australia and other key industry partners to deliver a practical approach addressing labour and skills issues for the tourism and hospitality industries across Queensland.
The Workforce Futures program is open to operators of all sizes providing workforce development solutions specific to the business’ requirements and appropriate to their needs. At the centre of the program is a network of 100 industry Skills Advisors drawn from a partnership of industry associations. Access to the Workforce Futures Skills Advisor Network service is fully funded and free of charge to businesses.
The program has received $4.6 million for targeted skills development funded through the National Workforce Development Fund. This will allow for the uptake of 1200 training places by businesses who participate in the Skills Advisory process. To get the ball rolling register online at www.workforcefutures.com.au/industry.
