Faster than a speeding bulletincoconut
THE news can be fast, but sometimes too fast, according to the law. One Cairns television reporter was rushing to the Daintree ferry when she was caught speeding by the local police. To make matters worse, she had an unpaid speeding fine to her name, which meant her licence was suspended and she was caught driving unlicensed. After convincing the police to let her go, she managed to arrive at the ferry an hour later than planned.
