Love the challenge of motherhood

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FRONT PAGE -

‘‘I THRIVE on challenges and I find that being a mum can be full-on, but life is filled with new adventures every day. Apart from being exhausting, you are humbled by having that opportunity of being a mum to such gorgeous children. I met my husband Andrew and he had four children and I had twins. Together we were very fortunate to have two more beautiful children. Being blessed with humour has certainly helped on this amazing path. As most of the children are in their teens or older, it has given me a chance to step back and enjoy the last couple of kids at home with us. I think it is important to improve whatever life you had. I’ve experienced so much more of life having children than if I hadn’t because it teaches you selflessness.’’ ‘‘MY MUM is such a bubbly person and she encourages me to do things. She is alot of fun to have around. Mum is really also like a friend, or like a diary, I can tell her everything. I think she is very beautiful.’’
