Niramaya installs new team
NIRAMAYA Villas and Spa will tomorrow officially have a new management team with grand plans to rejuvenate the luxury Balinesestyle resort.
Formerly known as Bale, Niramaya can be found in Port Douglas with 50 pavilions surrounded by 15 hectares of gardens, complete with 30m resort pool, spa and restaurant.
The new management will be holiday letting business Seascape Holidays, which was formed recently by Zac Sarnecki and Tom Hynes in Port Douglas, managing several properties and booking them out to holidaymakers.
Managing Niramaya will be Amanda Zsifko and Zac Sarnecki, who bring marketing expertise and experience in running holiday accommodation with them.
Mr Sarnecki said they plan to rejuvenate the brand and open the resort back up to the public, including opening up previously closed parts of the resort.
‘‘We came across a lot of people who think the place is closed or not open to the public and we have got to change that and reposition ourselves back in the market,’’ he said.
‘‘Niramaya is a top end resort in town open for business and locals are more than welcome to come enjoy the facilities, explore and discover Niramaya.’’
Local businesses OTZ and Wellness Spa operate the restaurant and spa respectively and both facilities are open to the public, including the pool for those who are staying with Niramaya or dining at the restaurant.
The management team will host an open day on July 6 for the public to have a look around, dine in the restaurant, enjoy the spa and check out a villa.
‘‘Blue Dive is co-hosting with us and running scuba diving sessions free of charge.’’
