Golfers urged to get in swing
THE annual Port Douglas Carnivale Golf Tournament is back, with this year’s particpating courses the Palmer Sea Reef and the Mossman Golf Club.
Whether you are a hacker or are proud to have a low handicap, the event promises lots of fun, great competition as well as daily and overall prizes for nearest the pin and best-dressed teams.
The first day of competition will comprise a team four-ball elimination ambrose event at the Mossman Golf Club, with day two at the Palmer Sea Reef course.
Teams can enter for one or both days of competition, and teams can be mixed or all male and female.
Cost is $190 per person to play both days and includes green fees, or $69 per player at Mossman and $139 at Palmer Sea Reef.
Sunday May 19 at Mossman Golf Club, 12.30pm for shotgun start. Monday, May 20 at Palmer Sea Reef, 9.30am for shotgun start.
