Zinc’s de­gus­ta­tion a de­light

AL­WAYS one of the high­lights of Car­ni­vale is the four-course de­gus­ta­tion lunch at Zinc Port Dou­glas.

Each course is ac­com­pa­nied by wines from Aus­tralia’s pre­mium wine pro­ducer, Do­maine Chan­don, and French cham­pagne on ar­rival by Veuve Clic­quot.

Start with a first course fea­tur­ing pep­pered pork fil­let, the sec­ond with prawns the star of the dish, fol­lowed by sage and fetta cheese crusted duck leg, and fin­ish off with deca­dent choco­late tart with mocca anglaise, choco­late tipped straw­ber­ries, can­died al­monds and choco­late ge­lato.
