Man of the match was awarded to Beau Paulke. Hav­ing only a cou­ple of runs to his name, Beau still man­aged to weave in and out of the de­fence to score a great in­di­vid­ual try for his team. Coach’s award was de­served by David Neller for con­sis­tent at­ten­dance and ef­fort at train­ing. that the boys’ ef­fort at train­ing was dis­played in Satur­day’s game. So boys, put your seat­belts on for train­ing this week. Christopher Neil was wor­thy of man of the match for do­ing a great job tack­ling and back­ing up his team­mates. Coach’s award was pre­sented to Lafe Hat­field for not giv­ing up against a re­lent­less Ed­mon­ton side. Train hard boys and come back stronger next week. Sean, Kyle and Tar­quin played up to help the Un­der-13s and along with the rest of the team en­sured Light­ning had to work for ev­ery point. Zac and Cody both main­tained level heads through­out the game and never let the the score­board af­fect the in­ten­sity of which they played. Their com­mit­ment and ef­forts earned Zac the Man of the match and Cody re­ceived the coach’s award.
