Crocs in frocks no shock
THE glamorous and the hairy will fight for top honours this Saturday night for the 2013 Miss Crocs in Frocks.
The annual event of AFL football players swapping their shorts for dresses and jocks for bathing suits, is on again and this year the audience can expect a few new faces.
‘‘It’s all new Crocs and all new frocks,’’ Crocs president Andy Smith said.
‘‘ We have around 10 models and new designer-made outfits, we have three girls who will dress them up and put make-up on them.
‘‘They will dress in a ball gown and perform an act and then they will come out in their bathing suits, answer questions and parade around.’’
German will be MC on the night, asking the ‘‘ girls’’ questions and helping the judges decide who rocks the frock the most.
And there can only be one crowned Miss Croc in Frock, so competition will be fierce.
‘‘There are some extremely good feminine men about at the moment and they’re all shaving down as we speak and waxing, every year we pull a stunner,’’ Smith said.
‘‘It’s all a bit of fun, as long as they behave and don’t get too coy with the boys in the crowd.
‘‘If people feel they have got the body and looks, they are welcome to come along prior to 7pm, register and strut their stuff.’’
Crocs in Frocks kicks off from 7pm on Saturday night at the Croc Pit. There will be drinks available, including Andy’s Deadly Tequila Vodka Punch, steak burgers and and a fun night in support of the 2013 Crocs in Frocks.
