THE Sugar Wharf went back in time to the ‘‘roar­ing 20s’’ for a Great Gastby themed Palates of Port.

The eight-course de­gus­ta­tion din­ner was well re­ceived by a crowd of flap­pers and gansters, who en­joyed ev­ery more­sal of the ‘‘cream of the culi­nary crop’’ din­ner.

The head chefs from Salsa Bar & Grill, Nau­tilus, Bucci, Bel Cibo, Thala Beach Lodge, Zai, Sher­a­ton Mi­rage and Port Dou­glas Cater­ing and Events came up with an ex­quis­ite and orig­i­nal menu.
