Get wet and re­ally messy

FAM­I­LIES with chil­dren five-years-old and un­der are in­vited to the wettest and messi­est day of the year in the re­gion.

Moss­man Com­mu­nity Play­group is host­ing the ‘‘Wet and Messy Open Day’’ for Na­tional Chil­dren’s Week on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 23, from 9.30-11.30am.

For a cost of only $3 per fam­ily, the fun will take place in the old bas­ket­ball courts at Moss­man Show- grounds. Some of the fun for kids big and small in­cludes face paint­ing, art and craft, slime and spaghetti play, slip and slide and emer­gency ve­hi­cles.

There will also be free morn­ing tea. ‘‘Come and have some fun with us in a very spa­cious and beau­ti­ful set­ting,’’ said Hiromi Wall from the Moss­man Com­mu­nity Play­group.The group is run ev­ery Wed­nes­day 9:30-11:30. New mem­bers are wel­come.’’
