MOSS­MAN Golf Club’s new restau­rant Nine and Dine has gone off with a bang, feed­ing hun­gry golfers and visi­tors alike.

Nine and Dine is open three nights a week and for lunch six days a week to the pub­lic, of­fer­ing high qual­ity meals at rea­son­able prices.

The club has seat­ing for up to 80 peo­ple, and in the weeks since its open­ing has been see­ing around 50 peo­ple per night.

Chef Michael Rad­burnd said the eatery has been well re­ceived by cus­tomers.

‘‘It has been re­ally good so far, we’ve had great book­ing num­bers,’’ he said.

‘‘The lo­cals are pleased and we are get­ting re­ally pos­i­tive feed­back from our cus­tomers.’’

While re­tain­ing old favourites like steak, fish and chips and burg­ers, there is a bit of ev­ery­thing else also from pasta to Thai cur­ries.

‘‘The fish and chips and steak are prov­ing to be favourites with din­ers, and the sticky date pud­ding has been sell­ing well.

‘‘We will prob­a­bly look at chang­ing the menu in three months. We might take off the meals that are not as pop­u­lar and re­place them with some­thing new, keep things fresh.

‘‘We have re­ally aimed at pro­vid­ing a menu to suit all tastes.

‘‘Mem­bers and the com­mit­tee have made me feel very wel­come, I re­ally en­joy it here.

‘‘ We are open to sug­ges­tions, so we en­cour­age peo­ple to let us know if they think there is some­thing that can be im­proved upon.’’

Nine and Dine can cater for a light snack af­ter a round of golf all the way up to wed­dings and birth­days.

The kitchen is open Tues­day to Sun­day lunch 11.30-2 and Thurs­day, Fri­day and Satur­day evenings from 5-8.
