Sizzling result for Paws and Claws
NEXT month marks two years that we will have run monthly sausage sizzles for Paws and Claws outside of the IGA store at Port Douglas. We have been amazed at the generosity of the local community. People buy books, donate books, buy sausages for themselves and their dogs. Give us their small change or say keep the change! Everyone in the community is so supportive and we have raised around $14,500 during the last two years for the day to day running costs of the animal shelter. Thank you to the community and thank you especially to the IGA store and in particular to Denzil, the manager and to Bob, the butcher who have made it possible by allowing us to set up each month and by their donations of bread and sausages.
