Drink­ing, mis­be­hav­ing and pos­ses­sion

TWO peo­ple were ob­served by an off-duty po­lice sergeant as they walked past the po­lice sta­tion while con­sum­ing liquor in a pub­lic place and caus­ing a dis­tur­bance. The in­ci­dent oc­curred on Novem­ber 9 around 3.30pm, when the off-duty sergeant no­ticed a group caus­ing a dis­tur­bance in Bow Street, be­fore walk­ing past the po­lice sta­tion.

When he ad­dressed them on their be­hav­iour he was ver­bally abused, and a short time later the off-duty sergeant, along with an on-duty of­fi­cer lo­cated the 44-year-old Moss­man man and 34-year-old Moss­man woman re­sult­ing in notices to ap­pear for con­sum­ing liquor in a pub­lic place, both to ap­pear in court on Novem­ber 27.

Po­lice found the same man later that evening about 7pm al­legedly mis­be­hav­ing at the foot­ball grounds and a search found the man had 1gram of cannabis and a drug grinder. He was charged with pos­ses­sion of a dan­ger­ous drug and drug uten­sil, to ap­pear in court on Novem­ber 11.
